39 Years of Great Wine Grapes

The vineyards were established in 1972 by Cleo and Ralph Devoto with two varieties, riesling and cabernet sauvignon. In the 1970s grapes were sold to various wineries, most notably Fetzer which won gold medals for both varieties at the Los Angeles County Fair. Devoto Vineyards today is larger and grows more varieties, but one thing remains constant: Devoto grapes lead to award-winning wines.
